Happy New Year 2012!
I have decided to leave my old blog behind and move on over with some fresh new ideas, and a commitment to blog at least once a week, and hopefully have a few give aways, throughout the year. I abandoned my other blog after the One Heart One World event last year. But I am back. Hope everyone finds me. The idea is to not ramble on about my life and crazy things I get myself into, but to actually post some tutorials. So with that spirit in mind I am going to repost one from last February:
Red Neck Wine Glass Tutorial
I don't know if I am late for the party or early, But I haven't seen these out here in Blogland yet, so I thought I would show you mine.
I went to a SuperBowl Party and my Aunt Jackie came in with one. That was the first one I had ever seen, at that point (2011) Since then I see them everywhere. I have made them and sold them at craft fairs, and given a bunch of them away. Apparently they are pretty popular at weddings too? Mr and Mrs style. So if you want to make up a batch or just one, here is all you need to do.
Dollar Tree Glass Candle Stick
Pint Size Canning Jar
E6000 glue
Turn the Canning jar upside down. Run a line of E6000 around the edge of the candle stick and center on top of jar bottom. You can insert a marble into the cup of the candle holder, for use as a glass marker. Wipe away the excess glue. I put a book on top to give it a little weight and ensure a good seal. Let it set for 24 hours.Pint Size Canning Jar
E6000 glue
I have seen them with the candle stick upside down so the small part is at the base, but I did it with the wide base at the bottom.
Cheers Everyone!
